I like to make a batch of hummus weekly. We use it in wraps, sandwiches, as a pizza sauce, or as a dip for veggies. This recipe can be made with any white bean or chickpeas.
Easy White Bean Hummus
You'll need...
1 1/2 c cooked white beans
1 garlic clove
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cumin
1 tsp chopped basil
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp cayenne
Let's get started!
Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor, blend until smooth. Add more evoo, if you'd like. Also, feel free to add more or fewer spices, I happen to LOVE cumin, so I add a lot.
